Thousands of people gathered at the Pacific Palms Hotel & Conference Center in the City of Industry on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, to attend the first ever Joe Jobs Expo.
They came as job seekers, exhibitors, sponsors, members of the media, staff volunteers and as special guests of the developers of the Los Angeles Stadium to an event that promoted leads to job opportunities.
More than 1,400 job leads not associated with the stadium project were offered by the 45 other exhibiting companies at the Expo, including Aflac, Cintas, Helmets for Hard Hats and the United States Secret Service.
Based on the feedback received, attendees, exhibitors and sponsors agree that the Joe Jobs Expo delivered not only leads to job opportunities but a job expo experience unlike any other.
